Shocking news coming out today. Andrew Breitbart has died of natural causes. Breitbart was a real conservative warrior who decided to fight for the cause several years ago. He was a digital media pioneer who helped set the stage for what has been conservative dominance in digital and social media for some time now. This is a rallying cry for all us to pick up the flag and move forward in his honor.

Notice a trend here….For the last 4 years individual freedoms have been stripped from the American people. This is a state’s rights issue and the states have the 10th Amend. right to take this all the way.
It is amazing to me how many Americans forget the politics of just 4 years ago. From 2007-2008 Democrats (and a good portion of Americans) blamed George W. Bush (“the evil Oil man”) for high gas prices.
Well gas prices are going even higher and not a peep from any of these people.

Rick Santorum (R-PA) has gone from Mr. Angry at debates with no money or seriousness to calm, cool and calculating with a large war-chest and a winning track record…..this coming all in a little over a month. He is poised to win MI next week unless something huge happens and is currently looking pretty good on Super Tuesday.

There is something about what Ron Paul is doing this presidential election cycle. He is doing one of three things; 1) securing enough delegates with an outside-the-box strategy to win the whole thing 2) secure enough delegates to re-shape GOP via the convention 3) put a solid organization in place for his son Rand (R-KY) to run in 2016. Or, he could be doing all three……

Either way, Dr. Ron Paul has definitely made an impact this election. Since he has pledged to stay in the race until the convention, things will get a lot more exciting on his end by this time in late summer. If Fox News along with the “mainstream” conservative bloggers can get over his “crazy” foreign policy (as they say) then he will broaden the discussion for new ideas in the GOP.
The media is painting a much different picture than most economists. To hear all of the media outlets (yes even FOX) instruct us, the economy is beautiful again. Forget unemployment still above 8 PERCENT, gasoline prices hitting record highs by mid-summer, NATIONAL DEBT at $16 trillion and counting, rising inflation, rising utility bills, jobless Americans being removed from the counting rolls, etc…..
